Veterinary Technology Preview Day

Becoming a veterinary technician can be a gratifying career path that aligns you with your passion. You can work with animals daily to make sure they’re happy, healthy and able to lead fulfilling lives. Come and learn more!

Allied Health Preview Day

If you’re looking to enter into the healthcare field but are unsure of your path, take your first step at ¿ªÔªÆåÅÆ. In the Allied Health program, you can find the career meant for you and begin your journey in healthcare on the right foot. Come and learn more!

During this information session, you will learn about the admission process for these competitive programs, the requirements for consideration and hear from faculty.

Attendance is required, and a session will need to have been attended within one year of application.

Selective Programs are:  Nursing, Practical Nursing, Advanced Standing Bridge Program, Dental Hygiene, Paramedic Technology, Veterinary Technology, Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

During our selective programs information session, you will learn about the admission process for these competitive programs, the requirements for consideration and hear from faculty.

Attendance at a Selective Programs Information Session is mandatory for those students applying for Nursing, Practical Nursing, Advanced Standing Bridge Program, Dental Hygiene, Veterinary Technology, and  Paramedic Technology programs. Attendance is strongly encouraged for students applying for Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

Dual Enrollment is a terrific way to maximize your learning! Take a course to supplement your high school education or prepare for college by beginning your experience at ¿ªÔªÆåÅÆ. Join the Admissions staff and ask the questions that are important to you.

The Gateway to College program at Mount Wachusett Community College is a National Award-winning unique dual enrollment opportunity for students who either have not experienced success in the traditional high school setting or are looking for a new opportunity to excel while still in high school or home school. The program is ideal for students who have dropped out of high school or are at risk of dropping out. Gateway students have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma with the added benefit of receiving free college credits toward an Associate degree or certificate through a variety of career-focused pathways.

Mount Wachusett Community College is pleased to offer the Pathways Early Experience opportunity to motivated students who would like to get a jump start on college. The goal of Pathways is to provide 20 high school students, per year, the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and an Associate degree while completing their junior and senior years taking courses at ¿ªÔªÆåÅÆ. Click to learn more about the program.

Information Sessions

For students interested in the Pathways Early College program, attendance at one of the information sessions is required. A legal parent or guardian is required to attend with you. Information about the program itself and the application process will be provided. Please note: Zoom links for virtual meetings and instructions for the on-campus meetings will be sent to both student and parent/guardian emails one business day prior to the event.
