About Abe Farley Prior to joining the National Weather Service, Abe attended Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI for this undergraduate degree in Physics. He then joined Peace Corps Tanzania where he served as a secondary school mathematics teacher in a rural semi-arid community. This experience living in a water scarce environment motivated him to complete a Master鈥檚 Degree in Hydrology from the University of Arizona. Abe has since worked for the National Weather Service for two years, working during significant events such as the remnants of Hurricane Ida in 2021 and the July 2023 flooding in Vermont.
