The Workforce Training Fund Express Program provides companies with simple, expedited access to grant-funded training. Companies with 100 or fewer employees may receive up to $20,000 per year for training at no cost to them.

This program is perfect for those strong performers that were promoted to supervisor, but have had no formal supervisory training. Also, a great opportunity for those employees to be cultivated to a supervisory position. Topics will include: Introduction to Leadership, Effective Communication Skills, Team Building, Assertiveness, Crisis Management, Employee Relations, Time Management, Planning and Goal Setting, Project Management, Decision Making and Problem Solving, Change Management, Cultural Awareness, Conflict Management, Emotional Intelligence, Counselling Skills, and Mentoring. Must have minimum of 13 trainees to run training.
Worldwide competition, and the growing complexity of things in general have increased our awareness of the need for more effective leaders. Developing leaders requires having an understanding of the knowledge and skills required for effective leaders. This course focuses on five leadership skill sets necessary to ensure individual and organization performance: providing direction, leading by example, enabling others, sharing power, and seeking a better way. In addition to the leadership skill sets, the course examines the attitudes and mindsets of effective leaders.
Coaching for High Performance gives trainees the tools to help people excel at their jobs and meet competitive challenges with confidence. This course teaches trainees how to communicate expectations, assess employee skill levels, establish the purpose of coaching, and agree on a coaching contract. Trainees will learn the critical skills needed to conduct coaching conversations, adapt one鈥檚 coaching style to fit changing situations, and create a coaching plan. Course Objective: Develop the skills to coach employees to ensure maximum performance, motivation, and retention.
DISC is the methodology used in this report to help you identify four different dimensions of your design: Your Behavior Style, Your Communication Style, Your Strength Style, and Your Work Style. You will see on the front cover of your report, just below your name, a descriptive name for your report style. Since each of us, to varying degrees, are a combination of the 4 primary DISC types, your style descriptive name may be immediately followed by 1, 2, or 3 of the other DISC letters. Once the profile assessments have been completed (15 minutes online), then a training and analysis of the results can be performed.

This training employs individual and team building exercises as well thought provoking dialogue around leadership, communication and organizational growth development.
You will also create a first-draft plan tailored for your organization, identify potential returns (ROI), and determine how far your organization could or should go with respect to ISO 10018 Certification.
